The unit was very nice. Perfect place for 2 to 4 people. We brought our boat and went everywhere by boat. Even to Mount Dora. The pool was very nice to hang out in at night. I am a very light sleeper and if you are as well, bring your earplugs and eye mask. The morning sun may wake you up along with a street light and a motion security light shining through the blinds. :) I would definitely stay here again. It was very easy to get in and out of. The house next-door is also a rental so we made some new friends.

We really enjoyed our time and this spot on lake Dora. The view of the lake, the amenities and access to what we needed were all what we anticipated. Even rented a boat for the day and got to dock at the property. That was highly convenient. I’ve already told my friends and family about it. Alex V

Had an amazing weekend here! The home was beautiful! So much attention to detail! The location was perfect, we enjoyed the pool and but tub with an amazing view of Lake Dora. We had fun kayaking as well. We are already discussing our next stay! We loved it!

We had an amazing stay at the lake house at Sara’s! The whole experience was perfect for our family. Our kids had an absolute blast—between spending hours in the pool and fishing right from the lakefront, they were never bored for a second. The location couldn’t be better, with the house sitting just steps from the water. One of the things we especially appreciated was how dog-friendly the home is. It’s not always easy traveling with pets, but the screened-in front porch made it so much easier. It kept our dogs safe and gave them a nice space to hang out—plus, no bugs! Sara was a fantastic host, and you can tell a lot of care went into making this home welcoming and family-friendly. We’d definitely love to come back again!

Great little place. Wish I caught some fish but maybe next time. Pups loved the time away and the kids had fun with the neighbors! We will see you again!

Came in for a soccer tournament that dragged out a bit longer than expected. Sarah was extremely accommodating when we asked for a little later check out. Very much appreciated.

Such a fun spot, pool and lake were great, great for families or individuals - so much to do and so convenient to Tavares and Mount Dora… and the fishing was amazing.
